Thoughts
Woke up and had a cup of coffee and fell asleep on the love seat and slept there till almost noon. We got around and loaded up our youngest daughter Emily and our granddaughter Audrey and took them home to Fort Scott KS this afternoon. We had picked them up last Sunday so they could come and visit. We sure enjoyed Emily and the baby Audrey while they were here. Grandma babysat Nathan and Audrey Fri. night while everyone else went to Jeff’s Birthday party. We all had a blast, watching movies and eating at the tall table in Grandma’s kitchen and sitting up on the bar stools.
No one knows what the future holds in store for them but they can plan ahead and live in the present time and let the past slowly fade away into magnificent memories. We can remember the past and make changes in the present to effect how the future will eventually be changed by the decisions that we make in the present.
Good morning. It’s a wonderful day here in the Ozarks. The weather is warming nicely, we’ll soon start to see the daffodiles and other early spring flowers peeking through the ground. We had a gentle rain last night. I’ve just recently gotten started getting my house plants ready to move outside and multiply. I don’t think it’s quite time to move them out yet. We may still have some cold nights that are too cold for my baby plants. I love my house plants but I have to admit that they do take abuse and, I even ignore them sometimes. Which if someone is going to be abused or ignored better it be a plant than a human being. Don’t you agree.

Here we are in the Ozarks and it’s the first day of spring. We have snow on the ground. It started out sleeting and then turned to these great big beautiful snowflakes. Weatherman said it wouldn’t be enough to cover the ground because it would melt as soon as it hit. He was wrong again. The ground, trees, vehicles are all covered.
Well we had a wonderful Easter even though we missed part of our family that couldn’t be with us. We had great fun seeing the family that were able to get together. We made it to Sunday School and Church with two of our grandchildren and took them on a trip to Arkansas to visit some of the family that we don’t get to see very often. Danny’s sister hosted a great Lunch and Easter Egg hunt after for all the kids. I got to hold the tiny baby that was born premature and is now 2 months old. He weighs 7 lbs now and is so precious. After the egg hunt we drove back home and had dinner with one daughter and her family here at the house. I know that spring is here since when we walked in the back door I was surprised by a black snake wriggling its way in between the wall at our hot water tank. I saw that a small decorative hat was turned over and reached up wondering how it got knocked over and almost grabbed hold of the black snake who was the culprit. We have no idea how he got in but needless to say I was freaked out.
